Cookie Policy
Last updated: 12 October 2026
This Cookie Policy describes cookies and comparable browser-storage technologies in relation to the Alboriessa Novia web design education website. We distinguish what the site currently implements from optional technologies that other websites may use. The current static frontend does not include advertising pixels, analytics scripts or a consent-management platform.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small piece of information that a website or service may ask a browser to store and return on later requests. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage and browser caches. They can help sites remember preferences, maintain a login session or understand website activity. The effect depends on the specific technology and whether it is operated by the site, its hosting infrastructure or a third party.
2. Current website features
Alboriessa Novia’s present pages provide informational content about web design courses, the project-led learning approach, design exercises and the organisation. A mobile navigation menu and expandable FAQ items work using ordinary browser behaviour and local JavaScript. They do not require an account, persistent tracking identifier or a third-party cookie to operate. There is no booking checkout, online payments, login flow or personalised advertising mechanism in the current static frontend.
3. Analytics and advertising
We have not included Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, advertising trackers, embedded social-media feeds or other third-party behavioural analytics in the delivered website code. We do not set marketing cookies or ask you to accept marketing cookies on these pages. Therefore an optional-cookie consent banner is not displayed solely for technologies that are not in use. If that position changes, we will update this policy before implementing relevant optional technologies and consent controls where required.
4. Essential technical functions
A browser or hosting provider may use temporary technical information to deliver a requested page, handle caching, mitigate misuse or maintain a connection. This does not necessarily mean that the website sets a persistent cookie. When technically essential cookies are introduced by a hosting environment, their names, purpose, origin and lifespan should be reviewed and documented as appropriate for that deployment. Essential operation is different from analytics or advertising profiling.
5. Browser storage and preferences
The current menu state exists in memory while you use the page and is not saved as a long-term preference. Native FAQ disclosure states likewise do not need persistent storage. Local resource files and images can be stored in your browser’s normal HTTP cache to improve performance; cached files are not the same as tracking cookies. Your browser determines many cache-management rules, and you can clear its cached data using its settings.
6. Third-party links are not embedded trackers
Educational reference links, such as those to W3C and MDN, are ordinary hyperlinks. Our site does not load those destinations into a frame or execute their code merely because the link is shown. If you choose to open a linked external resource, that other site may use its own cookies or tracking technologies. Its privacy and cookie notices, rather than this document, explain what happens after you visit its pages.
7. Managing cookies in your browser
Most browsers let you inspect and delete cookies, restrict third-party cookies, clear site data and manage privacy-related settings. You can typically find these controls under Privacy, Security or Site Data. Blocking essential cookies on websites that use them can interrupt functionality, but the current Alboriessa Novia informational pages do not require an optional tracking cookie for navigation. Settings vary by browser and device, so consult your browser provider’s help centre for precise steps.
8. Consent and your rights
Where the law requires consent before storing or accessing information on a device, optional technologies should not be activated until valid consent is obtained. Consent must be freely given and withdrawable. The current site does not present a cookie-consent choice because we do not deploy the optional cookie categories described above. Rights concerning information that might be collected through direct correspondence or infrastructure records are addressed in our Privacy Policy .
9. How this policy is maintained
If a new feature, hosting configuration, optional analytics system or service integration introduces cookies or browser identifiers, we will review the technology and revise this document. A future change may require details such as cookie name, provider, purpose, retention and opt-out or consent method. We do not list invented cookie identifiers here because that would misrepresent the current site.
